Main content]

This topic studies the deformation and fragmentation behaviors of single droplets, the coalescence and non-cohesion behaviors of double droplets, and the coalescence and non-cohesion behaviors between droplets and interfaces in W/O emulsions, from a more essential molecular level. To reveal the microscopic mechanism of droplet coalescence and non-cohesion in water-in-oil emulsions under electric field conditions. The research results help to understand the movement behavior of droplets in electric fields, further develop the molecular theory of droplet electrocoalescing, and provide scientific theoretical guidance for the improvement of electrostatic demulsification process and the development of efficient and compact electrostatic coalescers.
