On December 28, 2021, China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, after expert review and publicity, identified 17 China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation Industry Innovation Platform construction units. The Department of Electrical Engineering of our school is led by Professor Xue Yongduan. The declared Industrial Internet-based Oilfield Electrical Safety and Energy-Saving Engineering Laboratory was successfully approved for construction. This experimental platform is also the first provincial and ministerial-level experimental platform approved by the Department of Electrical Engineering!
The laboratory systematically conducts research on the basic theory and applied technology of oilfield electrical safety and energy saving, and forms technological breakthroughs in several directions of oilfield electrical safety technology, oilfield electrical energy-saving technology, and oilfield electrical intelligence technology based on the Industrial Internet. Solve the major theoretical and key technical problems of power grids and electrical equipment in the petroleum industry, build a domestic first-class petroleum and electrical research institution, cultivate high-level talents in theoretical research, technology and equipment development, and industrial application in the electrical field of the petroleum industry, adapt to national energy To develop the overall situation and serve the development of the oil industry.
The approval of the construction of the engineering laboratory platform will further enhance the construction of electrical engineering disciplines and scientific research levels in our school, and accelerate the construction of the talent training innovation system.
